How to get stable Android Pie on realme 2 Pro?

Last month, realme has started pushing Beta Android Pie update for selected realme 2 Pro users. This was then followed by stable roll-out which has been available for a limited number of users. The company also promised that a wider roll-out will be available in the next 10-15 days.

However, to those who can’t wait that long, the company has provided a Google Form where users can sign up to get the update earlier than expected. Upon registering your information, the form will then tell you that your “device will get OTA in 1-7 days”. That’s shorter than the initial 10-15 days timeline realme CEO Madhav Sheth provided. Note that this is a stable update.

As mentioned, this update will upgrade your phone to ColorOS 6 (Android 9 Pie). This will bring many changes to the device, in terms of user interface and main features such as an entirely new camera app. This new update, however, weighing 2.71GB, doesn’t include Nightscape yet. But we were still provided with Chroma Boost (that if you’re a fan of overly saturated photos), and HAL3 for GCam. Refer to the list below for the complete changelog.

To register your device, they will have to ask your email and IMEI for confirmation. Once provided, all you have to do is wait for your slice of Pie to be served.
